HI-POD LITE:

HI-POD PRO & LITE:
Electronics: We warranty all included electronics for manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase (this includes batteries, cables , LCD, and the remote).
Cameras also come with a warranty from the manufacturer (i.e. Sony/Canon – typically 1 year).
The warranty does not cover physical damage (drops/impacts/cracked screens/bent cables, etc) that occur on the field from user error, from inappropriate setup, or from transit.
The electronics warranty does not cover user error.User error includes damage to the camera ports or cable tips which can occur if a client does not apply proper strain relief per setup instructions. The warranty covers the manufacturing integrity and functionality of the product on arrival, not electronics damage due to improper use.
HI-POD PRO & LITE:
Cases: The HI-POD cases have a limited warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase. This includes functional issues with zippers, wheels, metal handles, and overall structural integrity. It does not cover minor interior foam wear and tear, seam popping, rips to exterior fabric caused by the user, or marks/cosmetic wear from normal use.
HI-POD PRO & LITE:
Cameras: HI-POD includes new Sony HD Cameras (currently Sony CX405). A standard 1-Year warranty applies to the camera which covers manufacturer defects in the product. It does not cover damage to the camera because of user error (example: damage caused to a camera port when a tower is elevated because the strain relief plate is not applied is not covered).
HI-POD PRO:
UPGRADE PATH: HI-POD PRO upgrades can be done at any time. All units are convertible into all others. An upgrade simply costs the difference between what you currently own, and what you are upgrading to. (i.e. X23 to X31 upgrade is a €1,000 difference in base price, so the cost would be €1,000).
HI-POD LITE:
UPGRADE PATH: HI-POD Lite upgrades can be done at any time. For Hi-Pod LITE users who want to upgrade to PRO level systems, a previous purchase may be traded in towards credit against a larger unit. A typical trade-in value is 25% of the original product value towards the purchase of a new unit. (This value can vary based on the physical condition of the trade- in product, and other factors). In this case, an LX15 owner, with a tower purchased at €1,999, could expect a €499.75 discount on the purchase of an X23 or X31 PRO. (Subject to change).
